Andrew Seary established his Physiotherapy clinic 19 years ago, initially on his own and gradually created a clinic of some 20 staff.
We at SEARY PHYSIOTHERAPY continue to provide a hands-on service focused on assessing, treating, rehabilitating and preventing a variety of issues.
Sporting injuries to back pain, sciatica and whiplash, we offer reliable treatments. Based in the heart of Whitchurch, behind Barclays Bank.
We give our clients the right support and knowledge to effectively manage their conditions. We only employ fully qualified personnel. You can rest assured that you’re in capable hands.
Our postcode usually takes you 1/4 mile around the corner. You may use postcode CF14 1XQ with parking in either of the two car parks in the village. These are free for 2 hours and require a valid ticket.
Currently, we have six experienced chartered physiotherapists, and seven sports masseurs. We also provide chiropody services. Our team can treat a variety of conditions such as sports injuries (muscles, ligaments, joints and haematomas), spinal injuries (neck, back, sciatica, lumbago and trapped nerves), and occupational injuries (repetitive strain injury, golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow).
Our director, Andrew specialises in sports injury rehabilitation. He has been involved with the Welsh Rugby Union for 17 years at all levels. We undertake thorough patient reviews and diligently document your medical history to get a clear understanding of your needs. We assess, treat and provide self-help to any issue that you may be facing.
Andrew qualified in 1984 from UHW, Cardiff with a diploma in physiotherapy, before venturing to Merthyr, UHW, Talygarn Rehab Centre, East Glamorgan/ Royal Glamorgan. He started working at the clinic in Whitchurch, Cardiff in 2000. He started private work from his flat in Fairwater before moving to Whitchurch. He finally moved his clinic to Old Church Road. The clinic now has 18 staff members.
He dislocated his shoulder while playing for Cardiff HSOB. Unable to play actively, he started treating the players. Malcolm Lewis (WRU) invited him to apply for a trip to New Zealand with the under 19s in 1987. Thus began a 17-year journey with the WRU. He has treated players such as Jonathon Davies, Scott Quinell, Ieuan Evans, Neil Jenkins, and Gwyn Jones. He has travelled to New Zealand, Hong Kong as well as all the 6 nation venues. Andrew was instrumental in helping create the professionalism of physiotherapy in the WRU today.
He was asked to be Madonna’s tour physiotherapist in Cardiff on a recent tour. He has toured with American Football, Glamorgan Cricket Academy, has made numerous television and radio appearances, lectured on variety of subjects, and has recently fulfilled a contract with Parc Prison. His clinic continues to grow, attracting quality staff from the physiotherapy and massage fraternity.
We provide treatments for the following:

We provide vouchers for physiotherapy, massage and chiropody treatments. These vouchers are to be used at the clinic only. You can buy these vouchers at the clinic or by card, over the phone.
